Jake’s Bday Album- Part 1

I’ve bragged about the cuteness factor of Baby Jacob, so I thought I’d show him off a little more. This is a cute little mini 6×6 album that I made for his one-year-old birthday. I love how you can download the hi-res versions of photos on Facebook! I secretly stole and printed these photos of Jake to surprise mom and dad with the album! Here’s part 1 of 2!

Engagement Brag Book

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought I’d share an adorable engagement brag book. This sweet couple got hitched back in December and this album was a wedding gift for the newlyweds! The Maya Road chipboard album is embellished with super fun black, white and red. There’s a great mix of both engagement photos and fun casual photos.

Hooey’s Brag Book

Today I thought I’d share a few snapshots from a brag book that I put together over the holidays for my sweet friend Christina. This was a gift for her mom “Hooey” of her adorable son, Auggie. She had the most fun photos of her little family to play around with! Enjoy!

Embellish is featured on active.com!

So excited! Embellish is featured in a fabulous article on active.com. The article is all about what to do with your old race bibs, t-shirts and medals. I absolutely LOVE this article because provides some really creative ideas on what to do with that big box of sports memorabilia!

Jeremy and I both have t-shirts from softball teams, college intramurals, tournaments – even a few dating back to when we were playing competitively in high school and even little league! When we recently weeded through out closets, we set aside those shirts because they were way too special to toss or give away. My mom is making us a quilt of our old shirts. Can’t wait!

All of our old trophies, photos and articles are in a box in the garage. It’s on my never-ending project list to put these cool items into giant shadowboxes. 2012 will be the year that I do it! I think they will be awesome to display in the “man cave” (aka fancy game room / garage). And… of course, getting those event photos and articles into albums are on the list, too!

A huge THANK YOU to Fara and the crew over at active.com for including us in this great article! We hope these great creative ideas help get your photos, bibs, medals, t-shirts and keepsakes out of the storage boxes and out there for the world to see. Show it off – you deserve it!  Be sure to check out the article to get you started!

Delos Reyes Brag Book – Baby Evanna

I was so excited to put together a brag book for the Delos Reyes Family for Christmas! Their adorable daughter, Evanna, is SO cute… I knew this album was going to turn out oh-so-fun! I was also super excited to use a new 8×8 Simply Shapely album from Basically Bare for the project! Here are a few snapshots from this cute album. I’m super bummed because I took some great photos of the acrylic, canvas and felt pages, but I accidentally deleted them on my digital camera (ahhh!!)… luckily, I have a few shots on my iPad to share!

What a cutie — and she’s only 6 months old!!

Kim’s Family Brag Book – Part 2

More Eye Candy for YOU! This is part 2 of Kim’s Family Brag Book. Again, it was absolutely a pleasure designing this beautiful album! Kim, I hope you and your family cherish the brag book for years to come!

Also, I had to include a few detailed shots of how awesome the texture is of these fabulous Basically Bare album. With the kraft envelopes, I was able to add in the extra photos that were not on a page. I simply hole-punched the photo and tied a ribbon on it. This made it look like a little tag that you could pull out of each envelope. Most pages I covered with patterned paper, but I occassionally let the fun brown, kraft paper shine through.

PS – We are having a sale on Etsy - 10% off this week only! (Oh, and the last few 2012 calendars are still just $30 – score!!)

Kim’s Family Brag Book – Part 1

I can’t wait to show off this adorable album. I absolutely loved working with Kim on this project. She is such a sweetheart. She’s currently away home in the Coast Guard. When she ordered this custom brag book for her parents for Christmas, I knew it needed to be extra special. Using a Basically Bare mixed media album, we put together photos of the family together – including the pups! This is just the first part… more photos coming on Monday!
