Super excited! My sister’s bachelorette party is tomorrow!! It is going to be a day of fun, girl stuff! Spa treatments, loungin’ by the pool, getting dressed up, dinner downtown, sleepover fun and brunch. I can’t believe my little sis is getting married in less than a month!! I am so excited for this next chapter in her life. I’ve watched her grow up so much just in the last few years and I know she is going to be the best wifey in the whole wide world. Love ya, sis!

In the midst of the day-to-day shuffle and craziness, sometimes dropping a cute little thank you note in the mail falls to the bottom of the to-do list. The art of sending a hand-written note via snail mail has almost completely vanished from our technology-driven world. With email, text messages, facebook and twitter at our disposal, the probability of receiving something in the mailbox (yes – the “real” mailbox) from an actual person (not a direct mail piece) is sometimes rare. I think the most handwritten cards that I receive in the mail are from grandparents. And, I’ve got to admit it — they make my day! I whipped up these cutesy cards about a month after the holidays to thank my friends and family for their kindness. I try to keep a stash on hand so when I get that impulse – I can take 5 minutes out of my day to express my thanks and hopefully make someone else’s day!
