Embellish is looking for a Marketing Intern!
It’s that time again… we are looking for an intern to join our team!! We have been SO FORTUNATE to have had amazing interns over the past year. Carla originally just signed up for a three-month internship and we were able to keep her on the team for an entire year… She has been absolutely amazing and I just love her to pieces. I’m so excited for her upcoming graduation, big move and next steps in her career. She has SUCH a bright future ahead of her!
With that said… we are now on the lookout for a summer intern! Here are the details:

Embellish Creative Designs spreads the fun of handmade crafting to capture the most precious memories in life. We create customized photo albums, DIY scrapbook kits and offer group and individual classes for all ages. We help our clients reminisce, re-live and re-love their favorite memories for years to come.
{What is expected…}
We are looking for energetic, motivated interns to help set the direction of our newly launched company. We believe internships are a win-win partnership. We have high expectations, but are flexible and believe with a little direction, interns can gain invaluable experience while helping take our organization to the next level. Get ready for a fast-paced, exciting opportunity!
10+ hours/ week preferred
Hours, Days of work are flexible
Work from home arrangement
3 month minimum commitment
{The Fun}
Create promotional campaigns using social media (facebook, twitter, pinterest, youtube)
Design innovative email blasts and marketing materials
Develop a promotional strategy to increase blog traffic
Launch video blogs featuring DIY crafting tutorials
Build relationships with partners and vendors to offer giveaways on the embellish blog
Recruit additional designers to join the embellish team
Enhance the Embellish online shop on various ecommerce platforms (etsy and embellish)
Other duties as required.
In addition, Embellish Interns will have an opportunity to learn more about the crafting industry and small business administration by attending various meetings and participating in development opportunities.
{What We Are Looking For…}
Ability to develop positive and productive working relationships with Embellish staff
Motivated, capable of working independently
Strong analysis skills, comfortable with web research.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and be flexible
Strong organizational skills
Interest in scrapbooking or crafting industry
Desire to learn about social media, specifically youtube and pinterest
Current undergraduate student with Marketing or Business major or prior experience.

Although we cannot offer a weekly paycheck to reward you for dedication, you will receive academic and career advice, a glowing letter of recommendation and suggestions on how to best leverage this internship experience in future job interviews and how to best convey your accomplishments on your resume. Other perks include: complimentary registration for embellish classes and the latest and greatest craft supplies. Of course, academic credit can also be negotiated through your university.
